The Bruins have placed Shen on unconditional waivers, Mark Divver of the New England Hockey Journal reports.
Shen, who the Bruins took 212th overall in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft, logged a goal and four points in 16 games for AHL Providence this past season. The 21-year-old will now look to catch on with another team, either in North America or overseas.
