RIVERSIDE, Calif. (AP) -- Rickey Porter scored 23 points including five 3-pointers and Steve Williams scored 21 as UC Riverside beat Cascade 102-60 Saturday Night.
Williams went 9-for-11 from the field and 3-for-4 from behind the 3-point line.
UC Riverside (3-2) led by 12 at the half and outscored Cascade (0-2), and NAIA school, by 30 points in the second half.
The Thunderbirds pulled as close as four, 29-25, with 7:34 to play in the first half, but the Highlanders went on a 10-2 run to go up 39-27 and led by at least 10 for the rest of the game.
Vili Morton and Larry Cunningham scored 13 points apiece for UC Riverside, and Brett Ost scored 12.
Malik Edwards led Cascade with 22 points.
