FULLERTON, Calif. (AP) -- Ralphy Holmes scored 25 points to lead five Cal State Fullerton players in double figures in an 89-61 victory over UC Davis Saturday night.
Yaphett King scored 15 of his 17 points in the second half for the Titans (7-4), Bobby Brown added 14 points and Hardy Asprilla had 12 points and a game-high nine rebounds.
Despite scoring no points in one 4:28 stretch, Fullerton managed a 35-28 halftime lead, in part because UC Davis (5-8) managed just six points in the last 10 minutes of the half.
Fullerton put the game away with a 23-5 run early in the second half. Holmes scored 12 points in that span.
Jermaine Harper added 11 points for the Titans.
Fowzi Abdelsamad scored 16 points for the Aggies, making him the 12th UC Davis player to score 1000 career points.
Thomas Juillerat added 15 for UC Davis, which is playing its second season as a provisional Division I team.
