NORMAL, Ala. (AP) -- Obie Trotter shot 8-of-18 from the field for 20 points, leading Alabama A&M to a 78-53 Southwestern Athletic Conference win over Alcorn State on Saturday.
Joseph Martin and Marcus Jones each scored 14 points for Alabama A&M (7-9, 3-3). Martin grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds for the Bulldogs, who dominated the boards 50-38.
Trotter hit 3-of-9 from 3-point range.
DeAndre Jones scored the only double figures for Alcorn State, leading with 14 points.
The Bulldogs, who led 37-24 at halftime, hit 42.2 percent of their shots while holding Alcorn State to 33.3 percent shooting.
Alabama A&M also scored 24 points off Alcorn State's 22 turnovers.
