FULLERTON, Calif. (AP) -Deon Tresvant scored 20 points and Rob Haynes added 18 points to lead Cal State Northridge to a 90-64 rout of Cal State Fullerton on Monday.
Willie Galick matched his career high of 17 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for the Matadors (4-7, 1-0 Big West), who have won three of four after losing six consecutive games.
Aaron Thompson had 14 points and a career-high nine rebounds for the Titans (6-7, 0-1). Gerard Anderson and Marcio Lassiter each added 13 points.
Fullerton's Josh Akognon, third nationally in scoring at 25.5 points, finished with a season-low eight points. Akognon failed to score in double figures for just the fourth time in his two seasons at Fullerton.
Northridge shot 59.6 percent, a season-best 63.6 percent from 3-point range and scored 21 points off turnovers.
