LOS ANGELES (AP) - Meiko Lyles scored 16 points to lead Columbia past La Sierra 78-56 on Sunday in the Loyola Marymount Centennial Classic.
The win completed a 3-0 weekend for the Lions (5-4) in the tournament, having beaten host Loyola Marymount on Friday night and North Texas on Saturday.
Mark Cisco had 14 points and nine rebounds, and Blaise Staab 11 points and 10 rebounds for Columbia, which never trailed against La Sierra and led by as many as 30 points. The Lions were ahead 41-19 at the half and used 15 players in the game.
Kenneth Penn led the Golden Eagles (0-8) with 13 points and eight rebounds. Daveon Woods and Garrette Kiefer scored 12 points each for the NAIA school based in Riverside, Calif.
