CLEVELAND (AP) - D'Aundray Brown scored 12 points and Jeremy Montgomery added 11, leading Cleveland State to a 63-45 win over Sam Houston State on Thursday night.
Montgomery hit three 3-pointers and Brown and Trevon Harmon added two apiece for the Vikings (11-2), who got back on track after a loss at South Florida on Monday snapped their second five-game winning streak of the season.
Cleveland State shot 52.6 percent (10 of 19) from 3-point range compared to just 22.2 percent (2 of 9) for the Bearkats.
The Vikings also converted 23 Bearkats turnovers into 27 points. They led 37-25 at the break and outscored Sam Houston State 26-20 to ease to victory in the second half.
Demarcus Gatlin scored a game-high 13 points to lead the Bearkats (4-8), who have lost three of four.
