David Feherty has a way with words. HBO

David Feherty will be the one answering the questions for once when he joins Bryant Gumbel on HBO's Real Sports on Tuesday evening. The questions are wide-ranging but focus a lot on Feherty's depression and drinking (see video below).

HBO got Rory McIlroy to open up a little about his old pal Feherty and discuss the 2011 Masters.

"I remember spending a couple hours with him the Sunday night of Augusta in 2011 after I'd lost the Masters," McIlroy told HBO. "And the laughs that we had at that dinner table."

"You were able to laugh?" asked Gumbel.

"He's incredible," responded McIlroy, who also cried a lot that night. "Obviously I wasn't feeling very good that night. But, you know, he was able to just lift the mood and lift everyone, and it takes a very special and sort of rare person to be able to do that."

Pretty cool stuff from two legends within the sport. Here's Feherty going on to talk about his depression.
