CBSSports.com wire reports

WASHINGTON -- The second game of Thursday's doubleheader between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Washington Nationals has been postponed because of rain.

The game will be replayed only if needed to decide a playoff race at the end of the season.

The doubleheader was scheduled after Wednesday's game was rained out.

The Dodgers won the first game 7-4 on Tony Gwynn's tiebreaking double in the ninth inning.
