07/11/16WRArrelious BennCollarbonePROBABLEThe Eagles released wide receiver Arrelious Benn with an injury settlement, according to ESPN on Saturday. Benn suffered a concussion in the third week of preseason, but it was a back injury that caused him to land on the injury reserve to start the season before he was officially waived by Philadelphia.
07/11/16DBAaron ColvinSuspensionSUSPENDColvin has been suspended for the first four games of the 2016 regular season for violating the league's policy on performance enhancing substances, The Florida Times-Union reports.

Colvin will remain eligible to participate in offseason and preseason activities, but will be sidelined for four games once the regular season kicks off. With Colvin out, offseason signing Price Amukamara becomes increasingly likely to start opposite Davon House at cornerback to begin this season.

07/11/16DLSen'Derrick MarksTricepsPROBABLEMarks (triceps) returned to practice on Friday for the Jaguars' final day of OTAs, Hays Carlyon of the Florida Times-Union reports.

Marks was a participant during individual drills for the first time this offseason after suffering torn triceps during November of the 2015 campaign, leading to an injured reserve designation. "It felt good just getting back, trusting the process, going out and not having any hiccups," Marks said Friday regarding his return to the practice field. The 6-foot-2, 294-pound veteran also believes he'll be a full participant for training camp, which begins in late July. He's expected to receive a lighter snap load throughout the 2016 regular season regardless, one reason being the addition of Malik Jackson in free agency.

07/11/16DBJalen RamseyKneeQUESTIONABLERamsey (knee) did some light running at Tuesday's practice, Jeff Darlington of NFL Network reports.

Ramsey continues to work back from surgery to repair a partially torn meniscus, and he appears to be making tangible progress. The Jaguars won't rush the No. 5 overall pick back, though, and he likely won't return to full speed work until training camp.

07/11/16LBTelvin SmithShoulderPROBABLESmith (shoulder) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Texans.

The 2014 fifth-rounder finishes up his 2015 season with a fantasy-friendly 128 tackles, to go along with 2.5 sacks and a pick in 14 games. He's on track to reprise his starting outside linebacker role for the Jags in 2016, an assignment that will make Smith -- whose shoulder issue will not require offseason surgery -- worthy of continued IDP utility next year.

04/27/16DLDante FowlerKneePROBABLEThe Jaguars have finalized the process of ending the season of defensive end and top pick Dante Fowler by placing him on injured reserve.
04/30/15WRJustin BlackmonSuspensionSUSPENDBlackmon was reportedly arrested Saturday in Ardmore, Oklahoma for driving under the influence, the Florida Times-Union reports.

Blackmon, who hasn't played since October of 2013, remains under contract with the Jaguars, but it seems increasingly unlikely that he'll play for the team again. At this time, the 25-year-old wideout remains under an indefinite suspension from the NFL.

07/11/16DBDarqueze DennardShoulderQUESTIONABLEDennard expects to be available for 2016 training camp after undergoing shoulder surgery sometime in the next couple of weeks, Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com reports.

Dennard hasn't made much of an impact during his two years in the league but appeared to be turning a corner shortly before suffering a season-ending shoulder injury last week. While he's expected to make a full recovery, it seems likely that he'll be in store for another ancillary role on the Bengals' defense next season.

07/11/16TETyler EifertAnkleDOUBTFULEifert, who will undergo ankle surgery Wednesday, could potentially miss the first couple games of the upcoming NFL season, ESPN.com reports.

Such a scenario remains speculative at this stage, given initial estimates relayed by the Cincinnati Enquirer that "a three-month recovery is anticipated, which puts Eifert's return to the field sometime in August." On the plus side, Eifert's upcoming surgery has been referred to as a "minimal procedure," so it's a little too early to count out the tight end for the Bengals' regular season opener on Sept. 11 against the Jets.

07/11/16DLBrandon ThompsonKneeQUESTIONABLEAll the Bengals who were probable or questionable on the injury report are active for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. The list includes linebacker Jayson DiManche (shoulder), defensive end Carlos Dunlap (illness), cornerback Terence Newman (back), defensive tackle Domata Peko (toe), guard Mike Pollak (knee), defensive tackle Brandon Thompson (knee) and offensive tackle Andre Smith (knee).
04/27/16LBVontaze BurfictSuspensionSUSPENDBurfict's three-game suspension was upheld by appeals officer Derrick Brooks, ESPN's Dan Graziano reports.

As expected, Burfict will miss the first three games of the 2016 season due to repeated on-field incidents, culminating with his cheap shot on Antonio Brown in a playoff loss to the Steelers. He's an excellent player, but his value to the Bengals has been dampened by a combination of injuries and careless penalties. He has 14 unnecessary roughness flags and 401 tackles in 47 games through four seasons.
