Amukamara (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Ravens
Amukamara's injury has now lingered for multiple weeks. Hamstrings are notorious for causing prolonged absences, and as long as Amukamara is out, the Jaguars will be thin at cornerback with only Josh Johnson and Dwayne Gratz serving as backups to starters Davon House and Jalen Ramsey.
Washington (hamstring) reached an injury settlement with the Jaguars on Thursday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Washington went down with hamstring earlier in the week which evidently will keep him sidelined for an extended amount of time. The Jaguars decided to instead part ways with the wideout instead of keeping him on the IR. The second-year man could hope to return to Jacksonville once completely healthy.
Blackmon (suspension) was handed a one-year suspended sentence and probation Wednesday, stemming from a misdemeanor DUI, the Florida Times-Union reports.
Taken fifth overall in the 2012 NFL Draft by the Jaguars, Blackmon hasn't played in an NFL game since being suspended indefinitely back on Nov. 1, 2013 for a violation of the league's substance abuse program. Though he remains listed on Jacksonville's roster, the the 26-year-old wideout seems increasingly unlikely to play for the team again.
Colvin (suspension) returned to practice Wednesday, Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times-Union reports.
Colvin was dealing with an ankle injury and had been sidelined since the team's preseason opener. He was back on the field Wednesday and should be available for Saturday's matchup with the Buccaneers. Colvin is suspended for the first four games of the regular season for taking performance enhancing substances, but he should be back to full strength by then.
Worrilow (groin) underwent surgery on Thursday and is expected to be sidelined for at least four weeks, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
Worrilow, the Falcons' leading tackler the past three seasons, was replaced by rookie Deion Jones in the starting lineup this season and has yet to record a stat this season. Philip Wheeler will move back to inside linebacker with the linebacking core thinned out due to Worrilow's and De'Vondre Campbell's (ankle) current injuries. The Falcons also signed O'Brien Schofield on Wednesday to give the team a little added depth for Week 3's tilt with the Saints.
Collins tallied 17 total tackles in 16 games during his rookie year with the Falcons.
Collins was limited to rotational work, only seeing the field on 28.6 percent of the total defensive snaps. He'll likely earn more playing time in the coming years, but the Falcons have a pretty young core of secondary players, meaning it won't be easy for Collins to ascend the ranks.
