10/11/15LBNaVorro BowmanNOT INJURY RELATEDPROBABLE49ers linebacker NaVorro Bowman recorded eight tackles (seven solo) in Sunday's 17-3 loss to the Packers.

Bowman has been fairly vanilla in 2015, failing to reach double-digit tackles in a single game this season. On a positive note, he didn't appear to be limited by the minor knee injury suffered last week.

Bowman isn't playing at the level we were used to prior to his gruesome knee injury in the 2013 NFC Championship, but owners have to give him a bit more leash in case he is simply shaking off the rust.

10/11/15LBAhmad BrooksNOT INJURY RELATED, SHOULDERDOUBTFUL49ers linebacker Ahmad Brooks will not be placed on the commissioner's exempt list and will open the season on the active roster, the team announced. Brooks was recently indicted on one count of sexual battery.
10/11/15TEVernon DavisKNEEOUTTight end Vernon Davis (knee) has been ruled out by the 49ers for the Sunday game against the Giants.

Garrett Celek figures to get another start, with Vance McDonald serving as the No. 2 tight end. The San Francisco offense has been a dead zone for Fantasy production, and there's little reason to expect anything from the team's tight ends.

10/11/15SL.J. McCrayKNEEPROBABLEAlong with linebacker Patrick Willis (toe), the 49ers listed Josh Johnson, Quinton Patton, Leon McFadden , Dan Skuta, L.J. McCray, and Dillon Farrell as inactive for Week 10 at New Orleans.
10/11/15TEVance McDonaldCHESTPROBABLEVernon Davis (knee) is inactive for the 49ers on Sunday against Green Bay. He had been designated as doubtful.

Vance McDonald, Garrett Celek and Blake Bell are in line to handle the duties at that position, though none represent a high-percentage Fantasy play in Week 4.

10/11/15WRQuinton PattonCONCUSSIONQUESTIONABLEWide receiver Quinton Patton (concussion) is listed as questionable by the 49ers for the Sunday game against the Giants.

If Patton is unable to play, speedy Bruce Ellington will serve as the No. 3 wideout in an offense that was completely incompetent the last two weeks. Anquan Boldin and Torrey Smith are both having very quiet seasons, but neither is in any danger of losing snaps.

08/18/15WRJerome SimpsonSuspensionSUSPENDJerome Simpson, who is competing for the role as the 49ers' No. 3 wide receiver, has been suspended for the first six games of the season. The suspension is due to a July 2014 arrest and previous off-field incidents, according to the San Jose Mercury News.

10/11/15SMaurice AlexanderGROINDOUBTFULThe Rams have listed S Maurice Alexander, RB Trey Watts, CB Marcus Roberson, LB Daren Bates, OL Brandon Washington, TE Alex Bayer and DL Ethan Westbrooks as inactive Week 10 against the Cardinals.
10/11/15WRKenny BrittKNEEPROBABLEDespite missing Friday's practice due to some swelling in his knee, Britt is listed as probable for Sunday's game in Green Bay, Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Britt should be fine to handle his usual snap count, and while he's rarely left the field this season, his consistent playing time hasn't led to consistent production. After catching 10 passes for 102 yards in Week 3, Britt took a backseat to Tavon Austin in Week 4, finishing with no catches and just one target in a win over the Cardinals.

10/11/15LBAlec OgletreeANKLEOUTRams linebacker Alec Ogletree underwent surgery Tuesday on a fractured fibula and will be miss at least eight weeks, Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

What was initially termed an ankle injury has been confirmed as a broken leg, threatening the remainder of Ogletree's season. He was easily on pace to achieve a third 100-tackle campaign in a row to kick off his career. However, his absence will make way for Akeem Ayers to serve as the Rams' weak-side linebacker.
