The Cardinals backup lost a competition of some kind.
Black and gold icing, a Drew Brees jersey and a helmet on top.
Cam Newton is a fun-loving guy, but if you cross the line in heckling him, he'll put you in your place.
Sherman has been traveling all over the field with No. 1 receivers more often. Shadow coverage has only occasionally affected Brown's performance this season.
Tom Brady's pass catching crew just keeps getting thinner.

11/29/15DTArik ArmsteadSHOULDERPROBABLEThe 49ers signed first-round draft pick Arik Armstead , the team announced on Friday.
11/29/15WRAnquan BoldinHAMSTRINGPROBABLEBoldin (hamstring) hauled in five of seven targets for 93 yards in Sunday's 29-13 loss at Seattle.

It was a brutal matchup for Boldin and he didn't appear to be 100 percent, looking gimpy on some routes. He also spent a little time on the bench in the first half, while the 49ers had the ball, warming up his tender hamstring. However, he made a number of tough grabs in traffic, and seemed to have a solid rapport with Blaine Gabbert, who did a nice job in the loss, completing 22 of 34 passes for 264 yards and a touchdown. Assuming Boldin made it out of Sunday's game without any setback, he'll have another tough matchup in Week 12 against the Cardinals.

11/29/15LBNaVorro BowmanSHOULDER, FINGERPROBABLEBowman (shoulder) had a relatively quiet game by his standards, recording nine tackles (four solo) in the 29-13 loss to the Seahawks.

Bowman continues to pop up on the injury report for a minor shoulder injury, but it didn't seem to affect the veteran linebacker as he was on the field for all 78 of the team's defensive snaps. With the opposition running the ball 44 times, you would think Bowman would have notched more than nine tackles, but Thomas Rawls was getting into the secondary consistently which did not benefit Bowman. A matchup against the Cardinals' potent air attack looms next week, so the tackle totals could be held in check for Bowman yet again.

11/29/15LBAhmad BrooksCONCUSSION, TOEQUESTIONABLEBrooks (personal) returned to the field Thursday, recording five tackles (two solo) and a pair of sacks in the loss to Seattle.

Brooks had missed last week's contest to attend the funeral of his sister. He returned Thursday and the extra rest seemed to have given the veteran linebacker a boost. While this was a monster game, it has to be taken with a grain of salt, as the Seattle offensive line is, well, offensive.

11/29/15RBCarlos HydeFOOTOUTHyde (foot) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, CSN Bay Area reports.

Hyde still hasn't played since Week 7 and is no lock to suit up again this season. Shaun Draughn will continue to lead the San Francisco backfield, with Kendall Gaskins and Travaris Cadet working in reserve. Draughn played nearly all of the offensive snaps in Week 11 against the Seahawks.

11/29/15DTTony Jerod-EddieHIPPROBABLEThe 49ers signed defensive tackle Tony Jerod-Eddie to a one-year exclusive rights tender Tuesday, the team announced.

11/29/15CBKeith ReaserANKLEPROBABLEAntoine Bethea is set to start for the 49ers this season at strong safety with Eric Reid entrenched at free safety. But the former doesn't know who their secondary mates will be and he's expecting quite a battle.
11/29/15SJaquiski TarttKNEEPROBABLETartt finished with eight tackles (four solo) in Sunday's loss to Seattle.

Tartt has been starting at strong safety ever since Antoine Bethea (shoulder) was shut down for the season. He has been averaging 6.0 tackles in the those three starts. He doesn't seem like the type of player that will haul in too many interceptions, but his size and athleticism give him a little upside in IDP leagues for tackles, forced fumbles, and the occasional sack.

11/16/15WRDeAndre SmelterUndisclosedNFISmelter (knee) is slated to practice this week, the San Jose Mercury News reports.

Smelter will remain on the 49ers' Reserve/Non-Football Injury list for now, as the team has a three-week window in which to evaluate whether or not to officially add the wideout to the team's 53-man active roster.

11/29/15CBTrumaine JohnsonTHIGHQUESTIONABLEJohnson (thigh) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game in Cincinnati, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

If Johnson isn't able to play, LaMarcus Joyner and Marcus Roberson will likely take on additional snaps. It would be a tough break for the Rams, though none of the bunch warrants serious IDP considerations.

11/29/15QBCase KeenumCONCUSSIONQUESTIONABLEKeenum (concussion) will not start Sunday's game against the Bengals, Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reports.

Keenum remains in the league's concussion protocol, and he'll be held out Sunday after taking a hit to the head late in last week's loss to Baltimore. The Rams had initially hoped that Keenum would be cleared in time to play Sunday, but they'll hand the reins of the offense back over to Nick Foles, who was benched after nine uninspiring games as the starter.

11/29/15DERobert QuinnHIP, BACKQUESTIONABLEQuinn (hip) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game in Cincinnati, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

Quinn missed a Week 11 game in Baltimore and hasn't handled a full snap count since Week 5. His presence, even in a limited capacity, would likely be useful to the Rams, but there's no shortage of superior IDP options.

    (Updated 11/27/2015)
11/29/15KGreg ZuerleinRIGHT GROINQUESTIONABLEZuerlein (groin) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game in Cincinnati, ESPN's Nick Wagoner reports.

Zuerlein presumably suffered the injury during Friday's practice, as he was a late addition to the final injury report. Even if he's able to play, he's attached to a terrible offense that has a highly difficult matchup.

11/09/15WRStedman BaileySuspensionSUSPENDBailey has been suspended four games for violating the NFL Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse.

With Bailey -- who has recorded 12 catches for 182 yards and a touchdown in eight game to date -- set to miss time, it's now understandable that the Rams are expected to work out wideouts Hakeem Nicks, Wes Welker and Vincent Brown, per ESPN's Adam Caplan.

11/04/15RBTrey WattsSuspensionSUSPENDWatts was signed by the Rams on Friday, ESPN's Nick Wagoner reports.

Watts was promoted from the practice squad, suggesting that Tre Mason (ankle) is unlikely to play. Even if he's active, Watts won't necessarily get any touches.
