Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday defensive lineman Brett Keisel "took a step back" in regards to his foot injury Week 13 and will sit out Week 14 vs. Miami. Keisel tried to play through his injury last game, but he was pulled in the first half against the Ravens.
Two Steelers defensive starters will likely not play Thursday night in Baltimore. Tackle Steve McLendon (ankle) has been ruled out while linebacker LaMarr Woodley (calf) is doubtful. McLendon sustained his injury on Sunday in Cleveland, where Woodley was inactive.
Cowboys linebacker Justin Durant, who's missed the past two games with a hamstring injury, said he did a lot of running Monday and believes he'll be ready to play Week 14 at Chicago, reports the Dallas Morning News. “I feel real good,” Durant told the paper. “I’m comfortable enough to go out there, so hopefully they allow me to participate.”
