10/24/16TEJordan ReedConcussionQUESTIONABLEReed (concussion) was a limited practice participant Wednesday.

According to The Washington Post, Reed managed to stretch with the team and take part in individual drills, but the concussion protocol remains his home. In a post-practice media session, head coach Jay Gruden said Reed will travel with the Redskins to London on Thursday, even if he isn't cleared, per Mike Garafolo of NFL Network. However, Gruden made a quick turnabout, stating Reed will instead see an independent neurologist Thursday, after which a decision to fly with the team will be made, according to Aditi Kinkhabwala of NFL Network. Under most scenarios, his Week 8 availability will be determined Thursday, but fellow tight end Vernon Davis is around to start in the event of another DNP from Reed.

07/29/16RBSilas ReddSuspensionSUSPENDThe NFL has suspended Redd indefinitely for a violation of the league's Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Bans of this variety are due to continued positive tests, which is evident as Redd has yet to serve a four-gamer for a similar violation due to his recovery from a torn ACL and MCL. Once healthy enough to return to the field, he'll have to bide his time and do his due diligence considering NFL commissioner Roger Goodell will be in charge of any reinstatement effort.

07/25/16LBJunior GaletteAchillesOUTGalette will have surgery to repair his torn right Achilles tendon, ruling him out for this season.

Galette's injury was revealed last week, but there remained a small hope that he may be able to avoid surgery and eventually play this year. However, upon since announcing his decision to undergo surgery, Galette can now be ruled out for the entire 2016 campaign, marking his second straight season lost due to an Achilles injury. With Galette sidelined once again, the Redskins will hope Preston Smith can build on his eight-sack rookie season and work with Trent Murphy at Washington's outside linebacker position opposite Ryan Kerrigan.

10/26/16WRCorey ColemanHandQUESTIONABLEColeman (hand) returned to practice Wednesday, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

This is clearly a step in the right direction for Coleman, who ran routes Wednesday, but the report notes that he didn't catch passes. That's notable due to the fact that Coleman is bouncing back from a fractured hand. While it's unclear at this stage what his chances of suiting up Sunday against the Jets are, Coleman's return to practice, albeit in a limited fashion, is a significant milestone for the rookie wideout.

10/24/16DBMarcus BurleyHamstringQUESTIONABLEBurley (hamstring) will not play Sunday against the Bengals, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Burley exited last week's game against the Titans with a strained hamstring and was unable to practice all week. Given this complete lack of participation, it's possible the injury may be more severe than initially let on. It's uncertain when he'll be able to return.

10/24/16WRSeth DeValveKneeQUESTIONABLEDeValve (knee) returned to practice in a limited capacity Wednesday.

DeValve has sat out the last four games after injuring his knee in practice, and now finds himself as the Browns' fourth-string tight end behind former practice squad signee Connor Hamlett. The rookie out of Princeton had only played 11 snaps before going down and doesn't figure to be involved going forward.

10/24/16DBJoe HadenGroinQUESTIONABLEHaden (groin) practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday.

Haden's missed three of the past five games with two different groin injuries, but his return to practice this week bodes well for his availability in Week 8.

10/04/16WRJosh GordonSuspensionSUSPENDGordon will likely be released by the Browns, NFL.com reports.

As hinted by head coach Hue Jackson, the team no longer has any plans for Gordon, who will enter an in-patient rehab facility instead of returning from his suspension in Week 5. It's unclear how long Gordon will stay in the facility and when/if he plans to play again this season, but he should eventually draw interest around the league, unless he failed a drug test -- in which case he'd likely be suspended yet again.

07/31/16DBTrey CaldwellHamstringQUESTIONABLECaldwell suffered a hamstring injury during the onset of training camp, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

It's currently unclear whether the hamstring was merely tweaked or if Caldwell has suffered something worse. Either way, there has been no timeline provided for his return. When healthy, the Browns' fifth-round pick will compete for a role out of the slot.

07/28/16DLDesmond BryantChestOUTBryant (chest) has been placed on the injured reserve list and will sit out the entire season, Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports.

Entering his eighth NFL season and fourth with the Browns, Bryant was a lock to start at defensive end after a 2015 campaign which saw him record a career-high and team-leading six sacks. The torn pectoral muscle he suffered earlier this month was originally thought to keep him out 4-to-6 months, making November the soonest possible return date. Rather than push his recovery in the hopes of a return the team decided it best to shut him down for the season. Carl Nassib appears first in line to replace Bryant, but John Hughes and Dylan Wynn could see some extra snaps as well.
