07/29/16DBMike HiltonUndisclosedNFIHilton (undisclosed) passed his physical on Sunday and is no longer on the PUP list, Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times-Union reports.

Hilton missed the first three days of practice with a non-football injury but returned to the field on Sunday. He'll now look to compete for a spot on the 53-man roster as a reserve cornerback.

07/11/16DBAaron ColvinSuspensionSUSPENDColvin (suspension) returned to practice Wednesday, Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times-Union reports.

Colvin was dealing with an ankle injury and had been sidelined since the team's preseason opener. He was back on the field Wednesday and should be available for Saturday's matchup with the Buccaneers. Colvin is suspended for the first four games of the regular season for taking performance enhancing substances, but he should be back to full strength by then.

04/30/15WRJustin BlackmonSuspensionSUSPENDBlackmon (suspension) was handed a one-year suspended sentence and probation Wednesday, stemming from a misdemeanor DUI, the Florida Times-Union reports.

Taken fifth overall in the 2012 NFL Draft by the Jaguars, Blackmon hasn't played in an NFL game since being suspended indefinitely back on Nov. 1, 2013 for a violation of the league's substance abuse program. Though he remains listed on Jacksonville's roster, the the 26-year-old wideout seems increasingly unlikely to play for the team again.

08/28/16WRCody LatimerKneeQUESTIONABLELatimer (knee) walked off gingerly after hurting his knee blocking for the punt return unit. The injury is not believed to be serious, Denver Post reports.

Both Latimer and head coach Gary Kubiak downplayed the severity of the injury, with Latimer saying that he believes that he'll be ready for the season opener against Carolina. Fellow backup receiver Bennie Fowler remains out with a fractured elbow, leaving the No. 3 receiver job open for Latimer. Latimer has showed flashes of the player Denver thought it was getting in the second round of the 2014 draft, accumulating nine catches for 121 yards in just over two games of work.

08/15/16DLVance WalkerKneeOUTWalker has an ACL injury that will cause him to miss the entire 2016 season, Mike Klis of The Denver Post reports.

Walker was carted off the field during Monday's practice, and an MRI confirmed the worst case scenario. The veteran defensive lineman was projected to backup Derek Wolfe on the left side of the line this season. Calvin Heurtelou now figures to slide into that role.

07/28/16LBDeMarcus WareBackNFIWare (undisclosed) practiced in half-speed team drills Wednesday, Mike Klis of 9news reports.

The Broncos looked like their old selves Wednesday with the returns of both Aqib Talib and Ware. While the quarterback dilemma is likely to linger on all season long, having Ware back on the field is a huge boost, regardless of form. In just 11 games last season, the 34-year-old registered 7.5 sacks to compliment 25 combined tackles. Ware is an unquestionable leader of Denver's defense, and the mere sight of him on the practice field is likely to lift team spirits.

07/27/16DBAqib TalibLegNFITalib (leg) returned to practice Wednesday, Mike Klis of 9news reports.

Talib's roller coaster offseason seems to finally be approaching a halt. His leg is near 100 percent, and after a report earlier this week indicating that Talib is likely to play on Saturday, there is reason to be optimistic in Denver. The Broncos have a plethora of stability issues at the moment, so seeing Talib back on the practice field Wednesday has to be reassuring for coach Gary Kubiak and company.
