09/29/16TBranden AlbertANKLEQUESTIONABLEDolphins offensive lineman Branden Albert (hamstring) is active Sunday against the Titans.

Albert had been limited in practice all week, but that won't prevent him from suiting up to occupy a vital role in Week 6.

09/29/16LBKiko AlonsoHAMSTRINGQUESTIONABLEAlonso (hamstring) is considered questionable for Thursday's game against the Bengals, Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald reports.

Alonso was able to fully participate in practice Wednesday after being a limited participant earlier in the week, resulting in additional optimism that he'll be able to play Thursday.

    (Updated 09/28/2016)
09/29/16GJermon BushrodWRISTQUESTIONABLEBears offensive tackle Jermon Bushrod (concussion) is out for Sunday's game against the Raiders.

Already facing the possibility of playing without QB Jay Cutler and WR Alshon Jeffery -- both questionable with hamstring injuries -- for a second straight week, the Bears will now be missing their starting left tackle. That's never a good thing, but it's especially worrisome when Khalil Mack is on the other team. Mack normally moves all over the place, but Oakland may have him spend more time on the offense's left side to test out replacement LT Charles Leno.

09/29/16TEJordan CameronCONCUSSIONOUTCameron suffered a concussion during Sunday's win over the Browns and has already been ruled out of Thursday's upcoming game against the Bengals, the Miami Herald reports.

Cameron was forced to exit during the first half of Sunday's contest and subsequently did not return. His absence left Dion Sims and MarQueis Gray to fill the void at tight end, which figures to be the case with him out again Thursday versus Cincinnati. Following that contest, the Dolphins will have an extended period before their Week 5 game against the Titans, but considering Cameron previously had three concussions in less than two years during his time with the Browns, his recovery coincides with a concerning history.

09/29/16RBArian FosterHAMSTRINGOUTFoster (hamstring) won't play Thursday against the Bengals, Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald reports.

With Foster still out, look for the Dolphins to go with a running back-by-committee approach once again Thursday, with Kenyan Drake and Jay Ajayi leading the way on that front, while Damien Williams and Isaiah Pead could also factor in.

    (Updated 09/28/2016)
09/29/16CBXavien HowardQUADRICEPQUESTIONABLEHoward has been named a starter at corner, Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports.

Howard was expected to start for Miami and the announcement from coach Adam Gase is simply confirmation. Look for Bobby McCain and Tony Lippett to see time in nickel and dime packages with Howard as the starter.

    (Updated 09/05/2016)
09/29/16LBJelani JenkinsGROINDOUBTFULJenkins (groin) is considered doubtful for Thursday's game against the Bengals, Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald reports.

Jenkins was unable to participate throughout the week of practice even in a limited capacity. If he's unable to play Thursday, Neville Hewitt figures to get the start at weakside linebacker.

    (Updated 09/28/2016)
09/29/16DEJason JonesANKLEQUESTIONABLEJones (ankle) was a full participant in Tuesday's practice.

Jones was limited in Monday's practice session due to an ankle injury. He was questionable for Sunday's win over the Browns but ended up taking the field for 55 plays, recording three tackles in the progress. His full participation in Tuesday's practice makes it appear likely that he'll be on the field once again for Week 4, although the Dolphins are facing a quick turnaround with Thursday's tilt against the Bengals looming.

    (Updated 09/27/2016)
09/29/16SReshad JonesKNEEQUESTIONABLEJones notched 10 tackles Sunday against the Browns.

Jones now has recorded at least nine tackles in each game this season, and he has 31 of them in three games. He posted a career-high 135 tackles in 2015, and he's certainly looking as if he can improve upon that number in his seventh NFL season. He also should eventually add some interceptions to his numbers, as he picked off eight passes over the last two seasons. He's an excellent IDP option at the safety position.

    (Updated 09/27/2016)
09/29/16WRJarvis LandrySHOULDERQUESTIONABLELandry (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Bengals.

The questionable designation makes it advisable to verify Landry's status in advance of Thursday's 8:25 ET kickoff, but after being listed as a limited practice participant both Tuesday and Wednesday, we suspect that Landry -- who was on the field for 66 of 67 snaps on offense in Week 3 -- will be a go.

    (Updated 09/28/2016)
09/29/16LBKoa MisiNECKOUTMisi (neck) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Bengals, Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports.

Misi's neck injury suffered during Week 3's win over the Browns will keep him out of the Dolphins' next tilt. Donald Butler will get the start at strongside linebacker in Misi's absence.

    (Updated 09/28/2016)
09/29/16WRDeVante ParkerHAMSTRINGQUESTIONABLEParker caught three of six targets for 51 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over Cleveland.

Parker got the Dolphins on the board early with a leaping 26-yard touchdown in the first quarter. He was held mostly in check after that, but 19 targets in two weeks is an excellent sign for the young receiver looking to cement his place opposite Jarvis Landry. The only hiccup to that plan could be Kenny Stills who caught five passes for 76 yards on Sunday, exceeding previous season totals.

    (Updated 09/25/2016)
09/29/16LBSpencer PaysingerNECKQUESTIONABLEPaysinger (neck) is inactive for Sunday's tilt with the Browns.

Paysinger suffered a neck injury last week against the Patriots and will spend Week 3 on the sidelines as a result. He usually serves as a reserve linebacker behind Koa Misi, so his absence on Sunday won't be detrimental to the team.

09/29/16CMike PounceyHIPOUTAfter suffering a knee injury in Saturday's preseason game, Dolphins center Mike Pouncey didn't express much concern, a feeling that would prove to be valid, as an MRI came back negative and the lineman was back at practice Monday, per the Miami Herald.
09/29/16TEDion SimsANKLEQUESTIONABLESims (ankle) was a limited participant at Tuesday's practice, Adam Beasley of The Miami Herald reports.

While limited for a second straight day, Sims is merely believed to be dealing with a minor injury. Jordan Cameron (concussion) has already been ruled out, leaving Sims as the likely starter at tight end Thursday in Cincinnati, after he caught four passes for 33 yards and a touchdown on eight targets Sunday against the Browns. Cameron has a lengthy concussion history, which means Sims could be in for an extended run as the starter.

09/29/16CAnthony SteenANKLEDOUBTFULThe Cardinals have deemed the following players as inactive for Saturday's Wild Card game against the Panthers: Drew Stanton, Brittan Golden , Chris Clemons , Jonathan Cooper, Alameda Ta'amu, Anthony Steen , and Kareem Martin.
08/30/16LBZach VigilBackOUTVigil (back) was placed on the Dolphins' reserve/NFI list on Tuesday.

Vigil has been dealing with a nagging back injury as of late, and will now be sidelined for the first six weeks of the regular season. When healthy, he'll likely return to a special teams role in which he recorded 18 tackles and a blocked punt across 16 games during the 2015 campaign.

    (Updated 08/30/2016)
07/31/16DLDion JordanKneeOUTJordan (knee) will be placed on the reserve/non-football injury list to start the season, ruling him out for the first six weeks, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports.

Picked No. 3 overall in 2013, the 26-year-old Jordan was suspended for all of 2015 due to a repeat violation of the NFL's substance abuse policy. Although he was conditionally reinstated by the league, Jordan hasn't been able to practice while recovering from offseason knee surgery. He has just three sacks in 16 career appearances.

09/26/16DBSenquez GolsonFootOUTGolson (foot) is ruled out for Sunday's contest with the Eagles.

Golson has not yet fully recovered from the Lisfranc surgery that he underwent in early August, but the 23-year-old is making tremendous progress. According to various reports, Golson is ahead of schedule and could be nearing a return to action in the coming weeks.

    (Updated 09/23/2016)
09/26/16RBRoosevelt Nix-JonesBackQUESTIONABLENix (back) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's contest.

Nix is unlikely to suit up for Sunday's date with Philadelphia which means that he could be in line to miss a third consecutive game. On the bright side, it does appear that he will be able to play within the coming weeks regardless of his status for Sunday.

07/29/16WRMartavis BryantSuspensionSUSPENDBryant was never under consideration of being cut by the Steelers despite his recently imposed year-long suspension, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports.

Bryant's multiple violations of the league's substance abuse policy triggered a minimum one-year suspension from the league, but the Steelers never considered releasing him, according to general manager Kevin Colbert. Instead, Pittsburgh will hope Bryant makes the necessary changes to his life to get reinstated next year, when he would have two years remaining on his contract with the team. With Bryant suspended, Steelers receivers Markus Wheaton and, more specifically, Sammie Coates, will be looked upon to take advantage of their increased opportunities this season.
