Heat's Tyler Herro: Doubtful for Saturday
An MRI confirmed a right toe contusion for Herro, and he is being listed as doubtful for Saturday's game versus Sacramento, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
It appears that Herro will miss his second straight game Saturday night, which will create more opportunities for Jaime Jaquez and Dru Smith. The good news is that Herro is considered day-to-day with nothing more than a bruised toe, and after Saturday's game, the Heat are off until Tuesday, giving Herro plenty of time to rest up.

Heat's Tyler Herro: Confirmed out for Saturday
Herro (toe) will not play Saturday against the Kings, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports.
No surprise here, as Herro was previously deemed doubtful for this contest. With Herro out for a second straight game, the Heat will need Norman Powell to absorb some usage. Additionally, Dru Smith could be more involved Saturday.

Heat's Tyler Herro: Won't play Friday
Herro (toe) won't play in Friday's game against the Magic, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Herro was downgraded to doubtful Friday morning, so his absence doesn't come as much of a surprise. The 25-year-old guard is set to have an MRI on his toe Saturday, and we should have more clarity regarding the severity of the injury afterward. Miami plays Sacramento on Saturday night.

Heat's Tyler Herro: Downgraded to doubtful
Herro (toe) has been downgraded to doubtful for Friday's game against the Magic, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports.
Herro was initially listed as questionable but is now unlikely to play Friday due to a toe injury. He's slated to undergo an MRI, so there appears to be some concern brewing. For now, the star guard can be considered day-to-day, but it seems unlikely he'd be able to play in the second half of Miami's weekend back-to-back set against the Kings on Saturday. Norman Powell (ankle) has been upgraded to available, but with Herro likely out, Pelle Larsson figures to stick in the starting lineup for at least one more game.

Heat's Tyler Herro: Questionable for Friday
Herro is questionable for Friday's game in Orlando due to irritation in his right big toe.
Herro has been excellent since coming back from ankle surgery, but the Heat may opt to hold him out of his first back-to-back set with his toe acting up. If Herro does need to hit the sidelines, that would open up minutes for Pelle Larsson, Dru Smith and Jaime Jaquez.

Heat's Tyler Herro: Another 20-point performance
Herro contributed 20 points (8-17 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and two steals across 33 minutes during Wednesday's 118-108 loss to the Mavericks.
Herro has now scored at least 20 points in five straight games since returning from injury, slotting straight in as the primary scoring option. In those five games, he has averaged 23.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.2 steals and 3.0 three-pointers. He should continue to put up consistent numbers on the offensive end, making him a relatively safe top-40 asset.

Heat's Tyler Herro: Scores 24 points Saturday
Herro had 24 points (6-17 FG, 6-11 3Pt, 6-6 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one block in 32 minutes during Saturday's 138-135 loss to the Pistons.
Herro was one of three Miami players to score at least 20 points, alongside Norman Powell and Andrew Wiggins, but he didn't offer much in secondary categories. Herro's calling card is his scoring ability, though. He continues to thrive in that regard and has scored at least 24 points in the three games he's played in 2025-26 since making his season debut in a win over the Mavericks on Nov. 24.

Heat's Tyler Herro: Fills stat sheet in win
Herro notched 29 points (9-15 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 8-8 FT), five rebounds, seven assists, one block and one steal across 32 minutes during Wednesday's 106-103 victory over Milwaukee.
Herro delivered far more than just an impressive scoring performance, as he filled the stat sheet admirably and ended just three dimes away from recording a double-double. It's been only two games since his return from a season-opening injury absence, but Herro has scored at least 24 points both times and didn't need time to quickly establish himself as a go-to option on offense for the Heat. In those two games, the star guard is shooting an impressive 21-for-33 from the floor, including 3-for-7 from three-point range.

Heat's Tyler Herro: Plans to play Monday
Herro (ankle) plans to make his season debut Monday against the Mavericks, barring a setback, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Herro has yet to play this season after undergoing surgery on his left ankle Sept. 19, but after ramping up in practice over the last few days, he's made enough progress to take the court for Miami. Considering the amount of time he has missed to begin the campaign, Herro is likely to be eased back into action over the coming games. Herro is coming off a 2024-25 campaign in which he received his first All-Star nod and averaged 23.9 points, 5.5 assists and 5.2 rebounds in 35.4 minutes per game across 77 regular-season appearances.

Heat's Tyler Herro: Nets 24 points in season debut
Herro (ankle) produced 24 points (12-18 FG, 0-2 3Pt), seven rebounds and three steals over 29 minutes during Monday's 106-102 win over the Mavericks.
Herro was excellent in his first game of the season, drilling 12 of his final 14 shots, which included a game-winner with under a minute to go in regulation. The Heat have only two more games in Week 6, but with neither coming as a back-to-back set, Herro should be available for both of them.

Heat's Tyler Herro: Will make season debut Monday
Herro (ankle) will play in Monday's game against the Mavericks.
After undergoing left ankle surgery Sept. 19, Herro will make his season debut and is in the starting five against the Mavericks. The star guard is coming off a career-best year in 2024-25, during which he averaged 23.9 points, 5.5 assists and 5.2 rebounds in 35.4 minutes per game across 77 regular-season appearances. Herro's return will likely result in fewer minutes for Dru Smith.

Heat's Tyler Herro: Targeting Monday
Herro (ankle) is targeting Monday's matchup with the Mavericks as a potential return date, Tim Reynolds of Associated Press reports.
Herro has been ramping up his workload at recent practices, and Monday will be one week removed from when Herro was quoted as saying he believed he was 1-to-2 weeks away. He'll likely be eased back into things, but he's slated for a massive year as one of the key cogs in Miami.

Heat's Tyler Herro: Goes through practice
Herro (ankle) participated in Sunday's practice, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Herro underwent surgery Sept. 19 due to a left ankle/foot impingement, but it sounds like a return is on the horizon. Herro addressed the media after the practice, indicating that his return is likely another week or two away and that his injury responded well to the increased workload.
