General manager Sandy Alderson has mostly come up aces -- literally! -- in his reconstruction of the Mets, but one obvious miss was the signing of Michael Cuddyer, whose numbers predictably deflated with his removal from Coors Field last year. He wasn't any healthier at age 36, serving a DL stint for a bone bruise in his knee and missing other stretches with various bumps and bruises, and the Mets eventually stopped playing him against right-handed pitchers. Fortunately, he gave them a mulligan by opting retire rather than play at the final year of his contract. Unless he has a change of heart, his Fantasy value for 2016 is precisely nil.
