Angels' Brian Moran: Clears waivers

Moran cleared waivers Thursday and was outrighted to Triple-A Salt Lake.

Moran was designated for assignment Monday but went unclaimed and will remain in the Angels organization. The lefty reliever has appeared in one big-league game this season, allowing two earned runs on three hits and a walk over one-third of an inning.
