Braves' Cody Miller: Going to Atlanta

Atlanta has selected Miller with the 96th overall pick in the 2025 First-Year Player Draft.

Miller was not expected to come off the board this early. A shortstop from East Tennessee State, Miller slashed .331/.430/.623 with 18 home runs and 27 steals in 58 games this spring. He has an intriguing combination of power and speed, although he hasn't faced great pitching.
