Braves' William Woods: Joins roster pool

The Braves added Woods to their 60-man roster pool Tuesday.

A 23rd-round pick in 2018, Woods spent the 2019 season at Low-A Rome, posting a 3.35 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 58 strikeouts over 51 innings. Though he'll head to Atlanta's satellite camp in Gwinnett, Woods isn't a serious candidate to receive a callup to the big leagues in 2020.
