Peralta went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run in Monday's spring training game against the Mariners.
Peralta belted his second homer in as many Cactus League games, both going the opposite way. "Just good approaches," manager Torey Lovullo told Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic. "When you see an opposite-field home run with a little bit of backspin carry, your swing plane is in a good spot." Peralta is looking for a bounce-back season in 2022 after a career-low .727 OPS last season.
