Escobar was recalled from Triple-A Reno on Monday.
Escobar will replace Adam Loewen in Arizona's bullpen, returning to the majors for the first time since July 17. He'll serve in middle relief while looking to improve upon the incredibly bad 15.95 ERA and 2.59 WHIP he posted over 7.1 innings with the Diamondbacks earlier this year.
