Barrosa was optioned to Triple-A Reno on Sunday.

Barrosa played in nine spring games and had a .273/.346/.273 slash line in 26 plate appearances, but he never had a realistic chance of making Arizona's Opening Day roster. The 23-year-old outfielder had an .850 OPS with 13 home runs and 15 steals at Triple-A last year.
