Diamondbacks' Matt Stites: Outrighted to Triple-A

Stites was outrighted to Triple-A Reno on Thursday.

The Diamondbacks designated States for assignment on Jan. 13, and after he cleared waivers, he was outrighted to Triple-A. Stites has yet to impress at the major league level, posting ERA's of 5.73 and 12.46 over the last two season respectively. In all likelihood, he'll begin the year at Triple-A Reno working out of the bullpen.
