The Dodgers selected Sandefer with the No. 132 overall pick in the 2026 First-Year Player Draft.
A 6-foot-1 righty from Florida, Sandefer transferred from UCF for his sophomore-eligible season. He threw a career-high 57 innings this spring and his 15.4 K-BB% was middling. He will touch 98 mph despite his slight frame and has a high-spin slider that could serve him well in relief if starting doesn't work out.
