Jacob May: Released by White Sox

May was cut loose by the White Sox on Saturday, Paul Sullivan of the Chicago Tribune reports.

May will look to latch on elsewhere after slashing .255/.303/.341 with two home runs and 30 RBI over 81 games with Triple-A Charlotte.
