The Mariners selected Taylor with the No. 101 overall pick in the 2026 First-Year Player Draft.
At Cincinnati, the 6-foot-5 right-hander earned All-Conference honors in the Big 12 in each of his three seasons. The slider is likely his best pitch. Taylor also showed the ability to shoulder a heavy workload during his collegiate career.
