Ramos is expected to remain Miami's closer, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.

Following Miami's acquisition of Fernando Rodney on Thursday, there had been speculation about whether Ramos' role would change but it is now clear that he will remain the closer. Rodney, who's posted a 0.31 ERA over 28.2 innings this season, coupled with Ramos who's turned in a 1.74 ERA over 31 innings, gives Miami one of the most formidable setup man-closer duos in the major leagues.
