The Pirates traded Sanchez, Hyun Seung Lee and Brandan Bidois to the Marlins on Monday in exchange for Lake Bachar, Will Sammon of The Athletic reports.
Sanchez turned 22 on July 4, yet he is now on his fourth organization, having been dealt in 2023 from the Brewers to the Yankees and again in 2025 from the Yankees to the Pirates. The lefty-hitting outfielder is slashing .254/.340/.431 with nine home runs and nine steals in 83 games at High-A.
