Schomberg was acquired by the Marlins from the Mariners on Tuesday in exchange for right-hander JT Chargois, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
Schomberg saw action in three games in the Arizona Complex League last year and has split his 2024 campaign between the Single-A and High-A levels. The 23-year-old has a 2.83 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 116:46 K:BB over 92.1 innings across the two levels this season.
