The Phillies selected Bogenpohl with the No. 64 overall pick in the 2026 First-Year Player Draft.
The powerfully built Bogenpohl, who comes in at 6-foot-6 and 245 pounds, has a ton of power potential, though he homered only six times last season for Missouri State. He regularly made elite contact but also had a high groundball rate, and getting the ball into the air could be pivotal for him to reach his full potential. He'll also need to improve against non-fastballs.
