Rangers' Nick Snyder: Recalled from Round Rock

Snyder was recalled from Triple-A Round Rock on Friday.

Snyder spent a brief period in the big-league bullpen in mid-April, giving up two runs in one inning and walking three batters while striking out none across a pair of relief appearances. He's thrown 8.2 scoreless innings at the Triple-A level and owns a 36.4 percent strikeout rate, but he'll likely be stuck in low-leverage opportunities until he proves himself at the highest level.
