Kiermaier (hip) took batting practice on the field Monday, Adam Berry of MLB.com reports.

The Rays are easing Kiermaier back while he battles a tight hip, but he doesn't look to be at risk of an extended absence. He's slated to face live pitching Tuesday, and he should also increase his involvement in defensive drills.
