Reds' Sam Benschoter: Returns to Triple-A

The Reds optioned Benschoter to Triple-A Louisville on Friday.

The right-hander will return to Louisville without making his MLB debut just three days after receiving his first promotion to the big leagues. Benschoter has a 4.06 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 44:13 K:BB across 51 innings at Triple-A this season.
