Reds' Scott Moss: Drafted by Reds with 108th overall pick

The Reds have selected Moss with the 108th overall pick in the 2016 first-year player draft.

Yet another Florida Gator goes off the board early in this draft. He missed the first two years of college ball after undergoing Tommy John surgery, but returned this season to throw six shutout innings in a start in the SEC tournament. A 6-foot-5 lefty with a low-90s fastball and a developing slider, there's a lot to like about Moss long term now that he's back from the elbow injury, although it's unclear if the changeup will develop to the point that he can make it as a starter.
