The Rockies selected Halvorsen's contract from Triple-A Albuquerque on Friday.
Halvorsen was a seventh-round draft pick by the Rockies in 2023 and logged a 3.00 ERA in nine innings at Triple-A this season. The 24-year-old takes Noah Davis' spot on the 26-man roster and will serve out of the bullpen for Colorado.
