Takahiro Norimoto: Remaining overseas

Norimoto signed a contract with the Yomiuri Giants of Nippon Professional Baseball on Thursday, Sports Hochi in Japan reports.

Norimoto reportedly had a contract offer from one major-league team, though the team and terms have not been specified. Regardless, he'll make a big move within the NPB, shifting from the Rakuten Golden Eagles -- where he's spent his entire 13-year career -- to the Giants.
