Webb (elbow) had Tommy John surgery Friday, ending his 2016 season.
Webb landed on the DL in late April with elbow inflammation, but, as it turned out, the injury was worse than expected. He'll head to the 60-day DL at some point in the near future as he begins his recovery from ligament replacement surgery.
