Nets' Day'Ron Sharpe: Iffy for Wednesday

Sharpe is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Pistons due to an illness, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.

Given that he's a late addition to the injury report, Sharpe may face an uphill battle for getting cleared to play ahead of Wednesday's 7:30 p.m. ET tipoff. The timing of the illness is unfortunate for Sharpe, who posted 16 points (8-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt), 13 rebounds and five assists over 22 minutes in Monday's loss to the Pacers in what was arguably his best performance of the season. If Sharpe is unable to play Wednesday, Noah Clowney could see more time as a reserve center behind Nic Claxton, which would open up more minutes at the forward spots.
