  • Harkless posted 17 points (6-9 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 0-2 FT), four rebounds and two assists across 26 minutes during Thursday's 115-106 loss to the 76ers. Harkless posted a season-high 17 through a season-high five threes, but it wasn't enough for the Knicks to secure a victory against the 76ers, who were without both Ben Simmons (back) and Joel Embiid (shoulder). Since being dealt to New York, Harkless is averaging 7.2 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 24.2 minutes.

  • Harkless is starting Monday against the Rockets, Chris Iseman of The Bergen Record reports. Harkless will join the starting lineup for the first time since joining the Knicks earlier in the month, with Reggie Bullock moving to the bench as a result. Across 38 starts this season, all with the Clippers, Harkless is averaging 5.5 points and 4.4 rebounds in 23.4 minutes.

  • Harkless has decided to remain with the Knicks rather than seek a buyout, Ian Begley of SportsNet New York reports. According to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, other teams had been monitoring Harkless as a potential buyout candidate. However, he's choosing to remain with New York. In his Knicks debut Feb. 12, Harkless played 25 minutes and posted four points, five rebounds, two assists and one steal.

  • Harkless had four points (2-7 FG, 0-3 3Pt), five rebounds, two assists and one steal in 25 minutes during Wednesday's 114-96 loss to the Wizards. Harkless (illness) made his Knicks debut but didn't make much noise. He came off the bench and produced modest box score counting stats while struggling from the field. Harkless has never really been an appealing option beyond deep leagues, and that's unlikely to change even now that he's on the lowly Knicks.

  • Harkless (illness) is listed as available for Wednesday's game against Washington. Harkless was held out of Sunday's game due to an illness, but it appears he's set to make his Knicks debut just before the All-Star break. The ex-Clipper joins a crowded frontcourt that includes Julius Randle, Bobby Portis, Taj Gibson, Mitchell Robinson and Kevin Knox.
