  • Giants' Cor'Dale Flott: Deemed limited again Thursday

Flott (knee) was estimated as a limited practice participant Thursday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports. New York didn't hold an actual practice Thursday, but this is nonetheless the second straight day Flott has been listed as a limited practice participant. The fourth-year cornerback hurt his knee Sunday against the Vikings and wasn't able to finish the game. His status for Sunday's game against Las Vegas is looking iffy, and either Deonte Banks -- who is dealing with a shoulder injury of his own -- or Korie Black would likely step in to start if Flott is ultimately ruled out.

  • Giants' Rakeem Nunez-Roches: Deemed DNP on Thursday

Nunez-Roches (ankle) is estimated as a non-participant on Thursday's practice report, per Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site. Nunez-Roches was limited at practice Wednesday, and it's unclear why he was downgraded on Thursday's practice estimation. The veteran defensive lineman has missed each of New York's past two contests because of an ankle injury. Darius Alexander has been seeing a bit more defensive snaps during that span.

  • Giants' Tyler Nubin: Estimated as DNP on Thursday

Nubin is listed as DNP on Thursday's estimated practice report due to a neck injury, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports. This is the second straight day Nubin has been labeled DNP, so his status for Sunday's matchup against Las Vegas is up in the air. The second-year safety will likely need to practice in some capacity Friday to have a realistic chance of taking the field in Week 17. Nubin notched his first career NFL touchdown last week against Minnesota when he scooped up a fumble and returned it for a score.

  • Giants' Deonte Banks: Working through shoulder injury

Banks (shoulder) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports. Banks likely picked up the injury during the Giants' Week 16 loss to the Vikings, when he played 33 snaps (25 on defense, eight on special teams) without showing up on the box score otherwise. It doesn't appear to be a serious injury given his ability to log a limited practice Wednesday, and Banks would likely avoid an injury designation altogether for Sunday's game against the Raiders if he were to log a full practice by Friday.

Flott was unable to return to the Giants' Week 16 loss to the Vikings after sustaining a knee injury in the third quarter. His ability to log a limited practice to open the week indicates that the injury isn't considered a long-term concern, and he would avoid an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Raiders if he were to practice fully by Friday.

  • Giants' Tyler Nubin: Dealing with neck injury

Nubin (neck) did not practice Wednesday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports. Green is active for Sunday's clash versus the Vikings, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports. Green missed New York's past six games while on IR due to a hamstring injury. He was activated Saturday but remained questionable for Sunday due both to the hamstring issue and an illness. The veteran linebacker logged a DNP/DNP/LP practice progression this week and is going to have to miss his seventh game of the campaign.
