  • Raiders' Brandon Cleveland: Reeled in by Raiders

The Raiders selected Cleveland in the seventh round of the 2026 NFL Draft, 229th overall. Cleveland was a distinguished two-gap tackle for North Carolina State, and one way or another he should prove a useful enough pick for the Raiders this late. The concern with Cleveland's NFL projection is that at 6-foot-3, 307 pounds, he doesn't have as much natural anchor as you'd like in a nose tackle, especially given Cleveland's lack of explosiveness otherwise. Cleveland has only one calling card -- eating interior blocks to crowd the ground game -- but it's not clear if his anchor will set well enough to play as well in the NFL as it did in college.

  • Raiders' Hezekiah Masses: Headed to Las Vegas

The Raiders selected Masses in the fifth round of the 2026 NFL Draft, 175th overall. Masses played three seasons of his four-year college career at FIU before transferring to Cal as a senior, where he racked up 47 tackles (one for loss), 13 pass deflections and five interceptions. He clearly has skills playing the ball, but he has a slender frame at 6-foot-1, 179 pounds and likely needs to bulk up. As a result of the frame, he struggles to get off blocks at times and isn't the most consistent tackler. Moses is likely bound for a depth role in 2026 and will likely be expected to contribute on special teams as a rookie while he adds to his frame.

  • Raiders' Dalton Johnson: Drafted by Raiders

The Raiders selected Johnson in the fifth round of the 2026 NFL Draft, 150th overall. Johnson played multiple safety roles for Arizona and is certainly unafraid to help out in the running game, racking up 94 and 97 tackles in his last two collegiate campaigns. He added four interceptions and 11 interceptions to his resume' as a senior, but he's a bit undersized for the position at 5-foot-11, 192 pounds and can struggle against bigger wideouts. Still, Johnson has good instincts, is a good tackler and has plenty of special teams experience, making him a good depth option on the back end and a special-teams candidate.

  • Saints' Tyree Wilson: Traded to Saints

The Raiders have traded Wilson and the No. 219 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft to the Saints in exchange for pick No. 150, Rachel Gossen of the team's official site reports. Wilson is coming off a 2025 regular season in which he recorded 35 tackles and 4.0 sacks in 17 games. In his new locale, the seventh overall selection in the 2023 Draft will get a fresh start while giving the Saints -- who were in need of pass-rushing help -- an edge player with some untapped potential.

  • Raiders' Keyron Crawford: Grabbed by Raiders

The Raiders selected Crawford in the third round of the 2026 NFL Draft, 67th overall. Crawford spent the final two seasons of his collegiate career at Auburn but didn't emerge as a starter until 2025, when he totaled 35 tackles, including 5.0 sacks and 9.5 tackles for a loss, one forced fumble and one pass defensed (including one INT). As a rookie, he figures to compete for reps at 3-4 outside linebacker, making Crawford a developmental pass-rushing prospect behind Maxx Crosby, Kwity Paye and Malcolm Koonce.

In his first campaign with Las Vegas last season, McCollum played in 16 games and worked mostly on special teams (320 snaps), though he did log 145 snaps on defense -- 61 of which came in the final two weeks. He'll likely be tabbed for a rotational role at safety again in 2026 behind Isaiah Pola-Mao (shoulder) and Jeremy Chinn (back).

The Raiders re-signed Booker on Tuesday. Booker first joined Las Vegas via a trade with Philadelphia last August. The Stanford product ended up starting 13 of 17 games last season, recording a career-high 44 tackles, five defensed passes, one forced fumble and one recovered fumble. Booker will likely reprise his starting role at defensive tackle in 2026.

  • Raiders' Maxx Crosby: Embraces playing for Raiders

Crosby (knee) shared a message affirming his commitment to playing for Las Vegas on Wednesday, one day after the Ravens reneged on a trade agreement that would have sent him to Baltimore in exchange for 2026 and 2027 first-round draft picks, Ryan McFadden of ESPN reports. Crosby is working his way back from surgery undergone on his left knee in January to repair a torn meniscus. Dianna Russini of The Athletic reports that the planned trade to the Ravens fell through due to a failed physical, while Crosby's agent stated on his personal social media accounts that the star pass rusher is ahead of schedule in his recovery and remains on track to retake the field in time for offseason activities. With Crosby having affirmed his commitment to the team, it appears he will play out his age-29 season and potentially beyond in Las Vegas, unless a new trade partner materializes. Baltimore has since signed edge rusher Trey Hendrickson to a four-year, $112 million deal.

  • Kyu Blu Kelly: Non-tendered by Las Vegas

The Raiders did not tender Kelly (knee) as a restricted free agent Wednesday. Kelly ended the 2025 season on injured reserve after rupturing the patella tendon in his left knee Week 14 against the Broncos. Before the injury, the 2023 fifth-rounder appeared in 13 regular-season games (eight starts) for the Raiders and finished with 40 tackles (31 solo), six pass defenses (three interceptions) and one fumble recovery. It's unclear when Kelly will be cleared to return to on-field action, but once he progresses enough in his recovery to do so, he should garner interest from teams looking to bolster their secondary.

  • Dolphins' Lonnie Johnson : Signing with Miami

The Dolphins have agreed to a one-year deal with Johnson, David Furones of the Sun Sentinel reports. Johnson is joining Miami after spending one season in Las Vegas. The 30-year-old started the 2025 campaign on injured reserve but totaled 25 tackles (14 solo) and two pass breakups in the final nine games with the Raiders. The seven-year pro is expected to play a depth role in the Dolphins secondary with extended time on special teams.

  • Raiders' Maxx Crosby: Trade to Baltimore off

Per the Raiders, the Ravens "have backed out of our trade agreement" for Crosby (knee), Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. "We will have no further comment at this time." Last Friday, it was reported that Las Vegas agreed to trade Crosby to Baltimore for 2026 and 2027 first-round picks, but the move wasn't going to become official until the new league year. With the deal now called off due to a failed physical, according to Dianna Russini of The Athletic, the star pass rusher remains under contract with the Raiders for the time being, while the Ravens retain their first-rounders.

  • Raiders' Malcolm Koonce: Returning to Las Vegas

The Raiders re-signed Koonce to a one-year, $11 million contract Tuesday, Levi Damien of USA Today reports. Koonce re-ups with Las Vegas after having played out the 2025 campaign on a one-year deal with the team. He suited up for all 17 regular-season games last year, notching 30 total tackles (14 solo), including 4.5 sacks, plus one forced fumble. In the wake of Maxx Crosby being traded to the Ravens, the Raiders' defensive scheme may rely on Koonce in an increased role in 2026.

  • Raiders' Eric Stokes: Extended for three years by Vegas

Stokes is slated to sign a three-year, $30 million contract to remain with the Raiders, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Stokes will get $20 million guaranteed on his new deal with Vegas after recording 53 tackles (35 solo) and five passes defensed for the Raiders in 2025. That was the 27-year-old cornerback's most productive season since his rookie 2021 campaign in Green Bay, when Stokes notched 14 passes defensed and 55 tackles (43 solo) in 16 regular-season games.

  • Raiders' Maxx Crosby: Headed to Baltimore

Las Vegas is trading Crosby (knee) to the Ravens in exchange for 2026 and 2027 first-round draft picks, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Crosby is a five-time Pro Bowler who racked up 69.5 sacks over 110 regular-season games spanning seven seasons with the Raiders. He dealt with a knee injury that required surgery last year and missed the final two weeks of the campaign, but he's expected to be back to full health by the beginning of training camp. Crosby is widely regarded as one of the league's top pass rushers and should immediately boost a Baltimore pass rush that tied for third to last in the NFL with just 30 sacks during the regular season in 2025. The trade can't be processed until next week, per Schefter, but it appears to be fully agreed upon.

  • Raiders' Tristin McCollum: Tendered by Las Vegas

The Raiders placed an exclusive rights free-agent tender on McCollum on Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. McCollum is thus on track to stay with the Raiders instead of hitting free agency, remaining in Las Vegas after he compiled 14 total tackles (11 solo) and a pass defensed over 16 regular-season games in 2025. The 26-year-old will likely compete for a top reserve spot behind Isaiah Pola-Mao and Jeremy Chinn (back) at safety in 2026.

  • Raiders' Maxx Crosby: Expected back by GM

GM John Spytek said Tuesday that he expects Crosby (knee) to play for the Raiders in 2026, Ryan McFadden of ESPN reports. The star edge rusher has been the subject of trade speculation of late while he rehabs from a knee procedure, but at this stage Spytek believes that Crosby will remain with the Raiders. That aligns with new head coach Klint Kubiak's desire for him to remain a franchise pillar. On that subject, Spytek said Tuesday, "Maxx is an elite player, and I've been very upfront from the start when I got here that we're in the business of having really good players on the team, and we need a lot more of them." That said, Spytek fell short of saying that the 28-year-old is untradeable, acknowledging that in general the team is always open listening to trade offers. "I learned a long time ago, always listen," Spytek noted. "I'm always listening."

  • Raiders' Tonka Hemingway: Plays sparingly as a rookie

Hemingway played in just nine regular-season games as a rookie in 2025, as he was a healthy scratch for the other eight, though he did record 4.0 sacks among his nine tackles (eight solo). The defensive lineman also broke up a pass and recovered a fumble. Hemingway did manage to get on the field in each of the last five games and in seven of the last nine, playing more than 30 percent of the defensive snaps in six of those contests. The fourth-round pick will try to earn a bigger role in 2026.
