Although they did not record the win, the Los Angeles Angels made team history Monday night at Oakland. The two teams were on the field for 6 hours, 32 minutes in a marathon game that ended at 1:41 a.m. on the West Coast.

By time, it was the longest game ever played in Oakland -- and the longest in Angels history. Still, they were unable to prevent their road losing streak from reaching three games and dropped to 3-10 away from home this season.

"You're always going to have your share of frustrating games in the course of a season," Angels manager Mike Scioscia said. "This one is extremely frustrating."
