The Angels optioned third baseman Kyle Kubitza to Triple-A Salt Lake on Sunday, per MLB.com.
Kubitza is hitting .214 in the 11 games since being called up on June 10.
"Just to get at-bats, keep getting better," Kubitza said of going down to the Minors. "I got a lot of firsts, so it's great -- any time you're doing that in the big leagues. Hopefully I'll go down, get better and come back here and be ready to play."
