Diamondbacks reliever J.C. Ramirez dropped to 1-1 on the season, taking a loss against St. Louis on Monday.
The loss was the first for Ramirez since July 13, 2013.
Ramirez entered the game, which was tied at 2-2, in the bottom of the ninth inning, with the winning run on second base. He struck out the side on 14 pitches to send the game to extra innings.
Ramirez started the tenth, and the first batter he faced, Jhonny Peralta, hit a 1-2 pitch to left field for a walk-off home run.
