Padres pitcher Eric Stults got no help from the offense yet again Friday, in a 3-0 loss to the Rockies.
Stults tossed his second quality start in a row to no avail, as the Padres offense has managed just one run in his last two trips to the mound. He scattered eight hits -- including two home runs -- over 6 1/3 innings of work en route to three earned runs allowed. He struck out four batters and walked one on 93 pitches in the loss.
Stults is now just 6-16 on the season and riding a three-start losing streak into his start against the Dodgers Wednesday. He has a 4.55 ERA in 152 1/3 innings overall.
