Rays reliever Kyle Farnsworth was removed from play Saturday when he bruised his middle finger while reaching for a batted ball with his bare hand, but he expects to make his next scheduled appearance Tuesday.
"It's a little bruise," he told the Tampa Tribune. "I should be fine."
Farnsworth also indicated that he would have remained in the game had it occured during the regular season. He appears on track to be available opening day.
