Cleveland free agent acquisition Michael Bourn struggled this spring for his new team, reports the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Bourn went just 13 for 61 (.213) with four extra-base hits, two steals and 11 strikeouts.
Indians manager Terry Francona, who rarely critisizes his players, said he was not concerned with Bourn's bat at this point. Francona expects Bourn to "make an impact" once the regular season opens. Plus, Bourn has made some great plays in the field.
