Rockies catcher Michael McKenry practiced sliding Wednesday, passing a milestone in his recovery from a July knee injury that ended his season prematurely, MLB.com reports.
"That was my last hurdle," McKenry said. "I made it."
This offseason, McKenry latched on with the team with which he made his major-league debut in 2010. He'll be attempting to win a reserve role behind starter Wilin Rosario this spring.
